Week 5

Lecture and Seminar reflection:

In the lecture class I learnt crimes, security and control related to information systems. The most common crimes are unauthorized people  and information modification. What i mean by unauthorized people is that there is potential for someone to look through electronic data, peek at monitors and intercept electronic communication. I also learnt about computer viruses and how it disrupts the normal functioning of computer systems as well as potentially destroying data.

Group work reflection:

In our group work we gathered the research findings and shared it with the group. We then proceeded to find solution to the problems that we had found. I decided to do some research to see if I can find ways in which these problems can be solved. It was difficult to find solutions because the problems we found were all technological which meant that I had to find ways to improve the technology that was being used which wasn't an easy task. I eventually did find solutions to all the problems I had.
