Week 3
Lecture and Seminar Reflection:
In my lecture class I learnt what are the components of an IS Infrastructure and basically what it does is it enables processing, storage and transmitting of data. However there are issues with managing IS Infrastructure. One of the issues is software obsolescence. Companies are continuously developing new and improved software as well as requiring new hardware for new operating systems.
Group work reflection:
My group and I were planning on how to look for and find problems the company are currently experiencing. We decided to brain storm ideas on the best ways of achieving this. I suggested that we interview people who use the Uber app and also the Uber drivers to gain an understanding of problems from their own perspective. This will also give us an insight of external as well as internal problems the company are experiencing.
