Lecture and Seminar Reflection:
In my lecture class I learnt what is descriptive and reflective pieces of writing. Reflection is when individuals examine themselves to identify what they have done in a certain task or situation. It usually deals with and involves feelings, reactions as well as your emotions. These are the things that make a good piece of reflective writing. Descriptive writing however involves analyzing and evaluating. It is objective as opposed to emotional. It is when you identify the positives as well as the negatives. In my seminar class i learnt cell referencing. This is a very useful technique to use when using excel as it can save a lot of time and make things straight forward. At first I found it difficult to grasp the concept of it and kept making errors but after practicing more I got the hang of it and I am able to use cell referencing correctly.
Group work reflection:
We formed a group of five individuals who I knew from previous semester. Our first task was to come up with an organisation we could talk about. We all had different ideas and had to narrow down are ideas until we came to an agreement on one company. This wasn't a difficult task and there was no heated moments. I felt involved and excited sharing my ideas and having people take it into consideration. The company we agreed on was Uber as they were a company we are all familiar with and know very well.
